These terms govern text messages (SMS) that LUX4RIDES sends to chauffeurs who drive with us and who have chosen to receive them. They are separate from, and in addition to, any driver agreement you have with us.
Messages are internal operational driver communications only. Message types include:
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages under these terms.
Message frequency varies with the trips assigned to you and with operational activity. There is no fixed number of messages per period.
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
Receiving SMS is optional. Consent is not required to use the driver portal or to perform work. You give consent by ticking the unticked "SMS Notifications" box in your driver portal settings, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Your mobile number and your SMS consent information are used only to send you the operational messages described above and to keep a record of your consent. They are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Our messaging provider processes messages on our behalf under contract. See our Privacy Policy.
If your driver account is suspended or inactive, or if you stop driving with LUX4RIDES, operational messages stop, except for a message needed to complete or close out a trip already in progress. Your consent record is retained as required for compliance and then deleted in line with our Privacy Policy. If you return, you will be asked to consent again.
We may update these terms. The effective date and policy version above change when we do, and material changes are notified in the driver portal.
